Dust Cover (Sealing Disc)

The Dust Cover or Sealing Disc sits on top of the jar below the cap to help keep product stay inside the jar and out of the inside of the cap during transit. Dust covers do not seal to jar and therefore does not prevent leakage and is not for tamper evidence. Disc is purchased separately from jar and cap. Does not require any additional machinery.

Lift 'n' Peel™ Foil Heat Induction Seal Liner

The Heat Induction Foil Seal Liner has a pull-tab allowing the user to lift and peel off the liner, making for an easier consumer experience. A heat induction machine is required for installation of the liner, creating a superior airtight seal for product freshness and temper evidence.

Pressure Sensitive Liner

This Pressure Sensitive Liner has an adhesive surface that forms a strong seal between the cap and the jar. The more torque applied to the cap, the better the seal. PS liners are available with the “sealed for your protection” print or blank, and requires no additional machinery. NOTE: Due to varying requirements for product integrity and increased regulatory pressures, Hero cannot warrant PS liner material in closure inner seal applications. Additionally, PS liner material is not recommended for use with liquid products.

Foam Liner

Standard in-cap liner, meaning the liner stays in the cap and does not affix to the jar. This liner reduces the chances of leaking vs no liner. It also provides some sealing of air, however does not provide a full air tight seal compared to a heat induction liner. No machinery is required for installation of the liner.
